Crucci are proud to introduce to you their new Snow Fleece 100% South Island Wool 8ply. This wool comes from a farm in Lumsden whose philosophy is in nurturing the soil, the stock, the people and the enhancement of the environment. They feed the microbiology in the soil with organic matter and by planting diverse pastures, growing Sunflowers, fava beans, ryecorn to name a few – these also provide food for beneficial insects and make for a very pretty crop.
They are about putting back what they take, protecting and potentially building the soil at all times and managing the environment to encourage a diversity of species - grasses, herbs, birds and bees and other insects.
