Description

This knitting pattern PDF is for the Shadow Beanie. This beanie uses the shadow knitting technique, also known as illusion knitting. It is made in two colours, or three if you want to add a pompom in a different colour, and comes in three sizes.

This classic beanie can be made in either Fingering/4 ply yarn or DK/8 ply yarn. There are two sets of instructions included to cover both yarn weights. The simple two-row stripe pattern consists of alternating off-set garter ridges to create an optical illusion.

It is knitted in rounds from the bottom edge up, with a K1, P1 rib band.

The Shadow Beanie requires average to intermediate knitting skills.
